how to add grammarly to powerpoint
As of my knowledge cutoff date in September 2021, Grammarly does not have a direct integration with PowerPoint. However, you can still use Grammarly to check and improve the text in your PowerPoint slides by using one of the following methods:
- Use Grammarly for Microsoft Office: If you have Grammarly for Microsoft Office installed, you can use it to check the text in your Word documents. Simply copy the text from your PowerPoint slides and paste it into a Word document. After checking and making the necessary corrections in Word, copy the corrected text and paste it back into your PowerPoint slides.
To install Grammarly for Microsoft Office, follow these steps:
a. Go to the Grammarly website (https://www.grammarly.com/office-addin) and click on “Get it for Windows” or “Get it for Mac,” depending on your operating system. b. Follow the instructions to download and install the add-in. c. Open Microsoft Word and you should see the Grammarly tab in the toolbar.
- Use Grammarly’s web app or desktop app: You can also use Grammarly’s web app (https://app.grammarly.com/) or desktop app to check your text. Copy the text from your PowerPoint slides, paste it into the Grammarly editor, and make the necessary corrections. Once you’re done, copy the corrected text and paste it back into your PowerPoint slides.
To use the Grammarly desktop app, you’ll need to download and install it from the Grammarly website (https://www.grammarly.com/native).
Please note that these methods are workarounds, and there may be updates or changes to Grammarly’s offerings since my knowledge cutoff date in September 2021. Make sure to check Grammarly’s website for the latest information and available integrations.
